Accepted as an expert at Codeable.io

After searching a bit for new opportunities I have managed to run across Codeable.io. I saw a few adverts that were posting about recruitment but when I have reached the site these have already been taken down.

As I was thinking to myself “I like this site, it seems like a lot of great people are part of this company, I’d definitely want to see if I can join and be part of a bigger community of experts”, I said to myself OK, I see a chat … they seem to be offline, but I will just message and ask if they are looking for any experts at this point in time.

What I am trying to get at here, is that I have seen many fellow developers ask “what do I need to do in order to achieve the same things as you”, I guess pointing this out might help someone and also encourage other extraordinary people to put themselves out there. There’s nothing to lose if you ask a question. The worst that can happen is for someone to disrespect you and laugh at you, but in the end, is that really where you’ll want to be? Working for people like that? Great companies have better ways of approaching people that want to onboard, so keep that in mind.

I see a lot of great opporunities here on Codeable and the community is just LOVELY! If anyone is thinking this is just an expensive version of Freelancer.com or Upwork.com you are gravely mistaken. We all communicate on a project and offer each other solutions and consult each other on what approaches we each have in order to deliver the client the very best solution.

Most people, I guess, get discouraged by applying and never scoring a job, but that’s just part of the thrill. Once you do get a job, however small, do your very best and make sure you have a happy customer. This should be a rule for you for all your future clients and projects. Never undercut the quality and compromise on it for the sake of quantity. Many reasons why nowadays we have a lot of broken software is just because of unrealistic deadlines and poor Q.A.

If all goes well I will be receiving a certification and I will be posting about that as soon as I do. On the other hand if anything interesting happens and I learn about it, I will also do my best to keep this section moving forward.

Once again, if you spent time reading this, I appreciate it and I am looking forward to the next!

All the best,

Cristian Simion
